great abs are made in the kitchen not in the gym.

even with the best exercise program if the diet doesn't provide the right nutrients at the right ratios fat loss will not be optimized. you have to consume low GI carbs during the day to keep insulin levels stable. plenty of quality proteins to preserve LBM when there is a caloric deficit. and enough healthy fats to keep test levels normal. for males there will be a drop in test production when the daily intake of fats goes below 30% and 20% for women. don't drop your daily caloric intake below the BMR. exercise at a high level of intensity for 60-80 minutes, this burns glucose during exercise but increases the metabolic rate for hours after exercise and that means more fat loss

drive to the store buy a 6 pack and 2 more. tape them all together
ta-da an 8-pack

oh you mean great abs. Make your friends drink that 8 pack you just made. You better stick to lots of water and eat healthy. Do cardio to loose weight and do weights to build muscle. Be careful with how much crunchies you do for the abs you will build the muscles there and it's a fine line between them looking good and looking yuck. Don't forget to keep up with the cardio to control the weight. Fat over the 8 pack just makes it look like a keg
