Your question does not make sense....

What kind of circuit are you working with? Is it high impedance, low current, which would indicate you require "guarding" in addition to good isolation?

If you are talking about the input of an OP amp with ultra-high impedance, then you would need to consider creating a "guarding" around input, in addition to good insulation. Guarding is a complete enclosure around the input pins and circuits that are kept near the input potential.

Or are you talking about low impedance, high current, which require just good isolation...?

Or are you talking about leakage in capacitors? All capacitors leak and leak would increase with age.
