We're always praying and trying to live that Gods will be done. Why didn't he just make it easier on us and take away our free will. I know God wants us to worship and have a relationship with him...but by praying asking Christ into our lives haven't we already chosen him, already chosen to worship and obey? I'm just curious what you think?

Some choose to turn away again later. It's a race, when you accept the Lord, you are STARTING the race, it's not over until you die or He takes you away from it. There is more glory to be had then just saving you. If he took our free will away, we would be nothing but robots, how then can we help anyone else? It's not about US, it's about HIM.

I sometimes ask myself this ? too. We could give many reasons why but I believe the best answer would be which is found in matthew 11:12-12And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.: It is simply because the kingdom of God isn't easy, it's actually hard, and God is the only one to blame for that.
I wonder if God really wanted us to live a good life because if it was because of Adam and Eve we suffer then we shouldn't have to suffer when we became believers.

Making us robots that would automatically do whatever God commanded would not answer the issue of universal sovreignty. Satan never challenged God's power. God could've settled that immediately by destroying Satan. Satan challenged God's right to rule us, and whether we would choose to serve God willingly out of love, and not for selfish reasons. This challenge is the entire theme of the book of Job, a challenge which Job answered well. We have the same opportunity as Job did to prove the Devil a liar and take God's side. Making us robots would only be a demonstration of God's power, and wouldn't answer this challenge at all.

loose will potential that we are able to chosen what to do. even nevertheless, if we do incorrect we pay the implications. permit me supply an occasion. you're utilising on the expressway and the fee decrease is sixty 5 mph. you have a loose will the two to obey the decrease or speed. in case you get pulled over by a cop because of the fact he clock you going 85 mph, your excuse of "i had to bypass quickly and that's my loose will," won't postpone in court docket. So this is with God. we are able to the two chosen to love and obey Him ( undergo in recommendations while we do fail he's rapid to forgive) or we are able to chosen to hate, and deny He exists and face judgment. this is our picking.

But what is salvation? And what would we gain by not being able to make our own choices? Life is about learning and experiencing and gaining wisdom through that process. Would you truly wish to avoid all the fun?

Free will? What kind of free will is involved in the choice to worship an entity for which there is not one shred of evidence (because the bible says so doesn't count, because I just know doesn't count, because I have a personal relationship with the voices in my head doesn't count), or suffer "eternal" torture in hell, for which there is also not one shred of evidence?

People often speak of "free will" when it comes to humans who harm others, but what about the "free will" of their victims?

By the way, if this god is "perfect," why does it need to be worshipped in the first place? That sounds like a self-centered, egotistical control freak to me.

After some one becomes born again , you get a brand new resurrected soul. But you still have a fleshly body that still lust after sin . That is why we need to constantly ask God for strength and guidance.

Because he wants us to love him without force. Isn't that the test of true and honest love. He's a jealous God and wants to know that we really do love him, really do choose him.

That is the end of the world. Repentance is useless after judgment time.
