Don't worry about sounding petty, this is your relationship too, you have every right to voice your concerns, I'm sure if you were doing something he did not like he would tell you.

I don't think that's petty at all. Sound like it to me he isn't taking the engagement serious. I don't understand why he would like you chatting with someone else unless he enjoys talking to other women and if that's the case you all shouldn't be engaged. Just tell him how you feel.

In all relationships just be up front about how you feel about everything. There is nothing petty about not wanting your man chatting, that just leads to something else. People end of falling in love just from being pen pals so to speak. Thats garbage for him to want you to chat ,that just gives him the green light and allows him to feel it s ok for him to do so.

You are not being petty. If this makes you uncomfortable you
need to be honest and let him know now before you are married. Some men get hooked talking to new women all the time on line. Sometimes it leads to something more than
chatting. He can find other hobbies and things to do.

I don't want to alarm you but I don't like the sound of this. It is a red flag that you don't see eye to eye about these things-and if you don't now, you won't later.

Just lay it on the line...say it like it is...he should respect your wishes...if someone loves you they don't need their ego stroked by someone else and their fantasies should include you not some web wanna be stripper or sex goddess.

Just tell him how you feel, he will probably like your idea better. Remember to keep your part of the bargain.

I say you shouldn't be engaged to him in the first place....He doesn't seem very committed.
