You can use conditional formatting to do that. I don't recall the specific formula you'd use, but I believe it would be something like =MAX(A1:E1) where A1:E1 is the range that you're trying to find the highest value for. You'd then be able to specify how you wanted that particular value formatted.

Use the MAX function in Excel. Look up the syntax or how to format the function in the help section of Excel.
