Hey, here's a thought: what if you were the prisoner in need of a transplant?

Yes. Prisoners do not loose their right for medical care. If deemed necessary, they should depending on the accessibility, availability of resources and health suitability to undergo operation.

Medical care to prisoners is a right. They may not have other rights that normal law abiding citizens have but they do have a right to medical care just as any other citizen. They are entitled to transplants and taxpayers usually foot the bill. They are added to the transplant lists and have to wait their turn just as anyone else. I think that if they have some disease or syndrome that leads to a organ failure out of no fault through their own, they should be allowed transplants just as anyone else. I also believe in capital punishment :).

OF COURSE!!

They should get medical care just like anyone else.
If they have a life sentence in prison, that just means separation from society, not separation from life and health.

No. When it is their natural time to go, then it is 'bye 'bye
time. There are too many others on waiting lists, who would lead more productive lives and not be behind bars for brutal crimes. Best wishes

Yes. Denying someone medical care when they need it is effectively killing them, and I don't believe in the death penalty.
