its natural

Neither is good for you. However, the sun is better than tanning. You are exposed to more amounts of UV rays in a tanning bed than you would be standing out in the sun for a few hours.

The suns tan stays longer because the rays go deeper under the skin, but the tanning bed is a quicker way at getting a tan. Theres also fake tanning lotion or even mystic tan as well.

You can get skin cancer either way but a tanning bed is easier, because you can control it and it's faster than lying in the sun all day. But that way you get cancer easier faster. standing in the sun you are exposed to less UV rays. the natural is the safer way to go. If you want to go the safest route go to a spray tanning booth, or find a good self tanning lotion and get a great tan with no exposure to the UV rays.

I say sun, personally. It's natural, and you aren't nearly as close to the rays of it as you are in a tanning bed. Bedsides the fact that tanny beds have such high and close UV rays, they are just nasty in general. The teenage girls that work at those places do not clean those beds like they should. I watched a special on the news that took a blue light to several different tanning beds at many different salons, and they were all the same. Filthy! I would not want to lay in something that someone eles was in previously, naked for that fact.

Uh, neither. TECHNICALLY the tanning bed is because it doesn;t use BOTH types of UV Rays, however it still causes burns and can raise your risk of skin cancer. Seriously, the best way to have a "healthy" glow (and personally I'm embrassing my lovely pale skin as I rock out red lips this summer) is a sunless tanning lotion or a spray tan (think little white dress and blotchy skin? noooo, go spray tan) it looks natural when done correctly. Always use sunscreen, even in the winter. You'll appreciate this advice when you're fifty but your skin looks forty. I promise. But oh, to answer you question--- tanning bed.

The sun is definitley better! But, not if you stay in it for too long! Tanning bed has a very high risk of skin cancer and ive seen it happen. Your skin starts to wrinkle and you look extremely old! Definitley the sun, but only in moderation.

I would definitely recommend self tanner! You may be young now and don't think about wrinkles but they are inevitable. Tanning only speeds up the process. There are some AMAZING self tanners on the market these days that will give you instant and realistic results. Try Xen Tan. It gives you a nice olive, not orange tan and it doesn't smell bad like other self tanners. Many stars swear by xen tan and I do too!

both are bad but u can control a tanning bed not the sun

2007-04-25 22:09:02 · answer #10 · answered by mcrfan198 2 · 0 0

neither.
they both cause skin cancer, especially tanning beds
i would try rub on tan.
if you ex foliate first then the run on tan or spray on tan should go on nice and smooth and look just as agood as a real tan. try going to a spa and asking if they do spray tans. its way more safer. also too much sun can cause more wrinkles when you get older. thats something to think about. =]
