If you "live" her alone? Hm...
Anyway, I wouldn't like to leave an animal that young alone but it depends on the animal I suppose. Also, you may have to expect "accidents" shall we say. If the puppy does not have you around, it won't get the appropriate "good" and "bad" when it does or doesn't urinate in the right or wrong places, so she may become lazy and go on your furniture. This is less of a concern as the dog gets older.
However, if you have a neighbour go check on the puppy every couple of hours or so just to see if she is alright or needs food/water/to go outside etc. then it might be better.

That sounds fine. My collie puppy slept out in the barn when he was 9 weeks old and he's very socialized. When we bought him from the people who owned the farm, we had to leave him in a crate for part of the day. If you're going to leave her home, make sure that there is no way for her to get out of the play pen, that there is plenty of water that she can't tip over, and plenty of food as well. Be very careful with toys because, especially at that age, it's smart to watch them when they're playing with toys because they can easily choke. Also, a good idea is to leave an old piece of clothing that smells like you there and something comfy to sit on as well. If you can, have a neighbor just check in on her in the middle of the day to make sure she's ok.

as for you leaving the puppy this is okay but do not leave her in a playpen with toys and food you need to train them from the beginning. while you are gone to work put her in a dog crate dogs will not use the bathroom where they sleep and as for the food feed her in the morning before you go to work and make sure you take her out to potty before you go to work and make sure as soon as you get in from work you must take her right out. I have done this with all my inside dogs and have never had a problem with this. Hope this helps just remember the puppy pads are great but you have to be patient with the puppy.

If you are planning on using the "crate" technique, where the puppy will sleep in a designated location in a crate, then once the puppy is used to its new home, it should be fine. Despite its size, the puppy will probably have tons of energy and might be teething. Regardless of the home, dogs shouldn't really be given freedom within the house due to the possiblity of danger, or the destruction of your property. The puppy might wreck your home if you leave it alone to wander within your house.

because of fact the canine you're questioning on getting are lap canine and greater suitable than in all probability going to be babied plenty, they might have seperation rigidity. i might recommend you wait somewhat to get a canine. in case you have a protracted college trip coming up, like thanksgiving or christmas, i might recommend you do it then. A domestic dog gets into particularly some issues, and putting him/her in a crate the 1st day, leaving it there for 6 hours on my own the next day will basically supply it psychological issues. in case you incredibly desire to bond with the domestic dog and supply it plenty love and interest and make it experience shelter at abode via itself via the time you bypass to college, do it in the process a break. Plus, it great in case you have an entire week off to get the domestic dog began on potty practise and such. this way, in case you make certain to enable the domestic dog get the run of the abode mutually as you're away, it is going to comprehend greater helpful than to get into schoes or bite up the furnishings. make certain you domestic dog evidence your place to boot! good success!

A puppy that little needs more socializing than that. If she were a full-grown dog, maybe.
