I kind of like the Scottish Curl. I also have an affinity for the Maine Coons. I like the size of the Rag Doll. Turkish Water Cats are interesting, and I saw a Bengal the other day with the most perfect markings. But the best cat of all is mine. She's a mix breed!

Ginger, male, cats are usually very affectionate and love to be around people and lay on your lap.
Tortoiseshell females, are great at keeping your home bug-free, and are very intelligent.
Siamese female, are very calm, devoted, and they don't shed as much as others.
Grey tabbies male or female: are hit and miss. Most are friendly, they tend to get fat and lazy, if they don't have a regular play routine. They love routines, though, and will have you into one in no time.
Avoid:
Persian, or for that matter, most purebreds. They are host to all sorts of congenital problems.

I have a flame point mix named Eli. So, while I am obviously biased....I would have to say flame point meezers are my favorite! You just have to love the Siamese personality!!!

I like the old-fashioned appleheads because they are full-bodied and have nice round heads.
