Twice and for the same reason. Once I was at the mall with my mom, and a woman backhanded her child so hard that it sounded like someone had dropped a heavy box on the floor. Mom grabbed my arm before I could go over there and show the woman just how it felt.
And the second time is when my sister had a friend staying overnight with her. The girl's father broke into our house and dragged his daughter out by the arm, screaming obscenities at her because my sister's fiance had stopped by. Again, it was Mom who stopped me from going after him. We found out later that the man was sexually abusing his daughter and that was the reason he went hysterical, thinking that someone else was muscling in on "his" property.
If we'd known that at the time, I think Mom would have looked at me and said, "Have fun, and try to keep the blood on the tile part of the foyer."

I learned from an early age to hold myself back when I am angry. I grew up around unrestrained anger, and was afraid of what I might do.
That wasn't a fun question, but I love you anyway. G'night and blessings!!!

Yes, a couple of times
One time, a car was passing our house (drunk teenagers), one got out and kicked my cat. A grabbed a pool stick and headed out the door, my dad cam running out and held me back, while they all laughed.

Yes, I attack somebody with a knife because they wouldn't allow me to watch my T.V. program. I was only about 8 or 9 years old.

Yes. Didn't work, though. I broke free and ended up setting the target of my wrath on fire. Just his hair, by the way. I'm not totally ruthless.

Yep, and a few times even that couldn't stop me. That was when I learned that I really needed to control my temper. :)
