Everyone's body chemistry is different. Even within seasons, what your body needs changes. Proactive can work for some but not others. If you still have zits then you may want to try something new.
Try other products, at least for a couple of weeks (unless it visibly makes it WORSE) and see how they work.
If you really have a hard time figuring it out, try to schedule an appointment with an esthetician (facial!) and they can talk to you about what kind of skin you have and give you some tips. The problem with this is it is between $30-$50 for a facial and usually you have to buy a package of 6.
What kind of make-up do you use? You can try switching to mineral make-up because this will not clog your pores. I rarely wear make-up, but when I used to wear the normal stuff I would break out in seriously 2 hours. I bought mineral make-up and a couple times had to sleep in it, no joke, no zits!
Do you use moisturizer? Try to get something that is oil free, usually the word is 'emollient.' If you wash your face but you don't moisturize it, your face may increase oil production to make up for the dryness.
Also keep in mind that you are a teen. Lol, I had such bad pimples between 7th-10th grade and all of a sudden they are gone now!

I use to have the same problem! I have tryed like a million differnt washes and none of them have worked.Polysporin is used for cuts to get rid of germs and stuff but it works great for pimples! I had a coldsore and i ussualy have them for like a week and it only lasted 2 days! Within like a week there was like no pimples and the ones that were there werent red or anything and they were barely visible. You should really try polysporin!
hope this helps!

Go to a dermatologist. The stuff on the market is just fluff. What really worked for me was Retin-a. I love Retin-a because it gave me beautiful skin. It takes it a couple of months to fully start working, but it's well worth it. And DON'T WASH YOUR FACE MORE THAN ONCE A DAY!!!!!!! It takes away all of its natural protection. And be careful with the overnight masks. They will do the same thing.

It sucks when it seems like you are the only one getting pimples and your friends have crystal clear skin.
Sometimes using a topical solution is not the best answer for people and pills will actually help balance out the hormones in your system.
If you are thinking of trying another product maybe you want to try a pill instead.
Good luck

1. Apply a mixture of turmeric and neem on the face.
2. A mixture of crushed mint leaves and oats will reduce pimples. Leave this for 20 minutes and wash it with warm water.
3. Mix thick curd, turmeric and two drops of oil. Apply on the face.
4. Crush garlic and take the juice and apply it on the face daily to reduce pimples
5. Make a paste with sandal wood and turmeric and apply it on the facehttp://www.facenbodycare.com/pimple_skin_care_tips.html

well , don't use proactiv! i tried it ,sure it gets rid of a little but i promise you its a waste of money and takes a while to work , and leaves skin red and irritated. i personally tried almost every product out there. so what i reccomend the best for your skin type is lush. www.lush.com , they have great natural products that clear up skin fast and leave it glowing , and acne free.try to find a store near you or order online.it also works fast!

proactive didn't work for me so i tried mary kay then and i really like it....you have to make sure you wash twice a day and it works...i skip the moisturizer becuase it makes me oily and i use the blemish control toner for zits.....my sister uses the acne treatment gel....you just have to find what works for you....i really reccomend getting on a skin care regimen using the same skin care line, don't mix brands because they will work against each other causing you to break out more

all my life on and off i've had pimples. i've tried EVERYTHING and the only thing that has worked is percription strenght Retina. Insurance covers the perscription so its cheap. but you need a prescription. you do peel for the first 2-4 weeks, but not bad, then its great. no sun though, need to wear a hat.
