OK this is weird but cute.
Save all the shopping bags from all the trendy stores or just go ask them if you can have one...put them on one complete wall.
also the cloth shower curtains make great window covers. You can even make a cardboard valance out of one...just cut the cardboard in any shape you want and glue padding on it. cover with cloth and decorate it with old jewelry...your, garage sale or Ma-da-gra beads.
also
sponge painting are great.
also and this is really great.
draw on your wall a street sign, light pole, or something you like.
also
get glow in the dark paint and sponge on in a design.
also
get a black light and lots of white stuff the show up when the black light is on.
Make a remembrance board as big as you need for pictures of friends.
Frame it and decorate it. either with paint or felt get glue or that Velcro for putting the pictures on so you do not have to punch holes in the pictures.
Get big pictures like poster pictures...they have them a Big Lots. I got some great ones I forgot how much but i got 4 of them so they were probably like 5 bucks. you can just put them up or frame them with decorated cardboard.

u want fun, hang the bed from the ceiling. this gives u storage under the bed. put fabric around the chains.( can change when u want)make your own lights. make your own art work, u can use a painters cloth. make a wall u can write on. chalkboard wall is great. pick a color or 2 and use all other colors on pillows, rugs or storage boxes. make a picture board 4 all your fun pictures with friends and family. u can make your own pillows, much cheaper. or paint a picture on the wall. (sports, animal or a team name) dint b afraid of color. member, when u pick a color u may want to go that shade lighter. after 2 coats it will get darker.

Take off the closet doors and paint the inside walls a bright fuchsia. Line the shelves with cool paper or newspaper comics. Use hippy beads for a door.

I would do a fun hip idea. Look through potterybarn teen magazine and other furniture magazines to help you. Have a desk, bed and a fun lounging area for u and your friends. Go to a home depot and pick out colors for your wall, you can mike and match everything. Hope your room turns out great and you have fun doing it.
