1. Even though God was able to perform these awesome acts of creation with less difficulty than your work in your creations, there must have been a purpose and a plan for each object.
2. What's wrong with using these powers in performing such a magnificent task?
3.For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
If that isn't a labour of love, I don't know what is.

I disagree
There was incredible thought put in to it in amazing detail and scope. The design and wisdom in creation, although fallen creation is awesome in almost any way you look at it
Additionally, God knew that creating the world would mean having to redeem it and there would be a great cost involved as Jesus became "the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world"

No finger pointing....He spoke the world, etc. into existence.....except for man, who He created from dirt, a creation of love.......
Correction.....God does help His human creations out of messes everyday.....if they come to Him with repentant hearts and believe His Son died for them. In fact, God has been known to help humans out of messes even it they don't repent or believe. God is long suffering and willing that none should perish. His Holy Word (the Bible) is the love story of Deity making a way to connect sinful man with Himself, Who cannot associate with sin....the story of the redemption of whosoever will. Open invitation to partake of Living Water and Eternal Peace.
You are blessed and use your talents being creative. I'm sure you bless others greatly by what you do. But how much better would your life be it you gave credit to the Great Creator, Who formed you in your mother's womb, and designed every good part of you........you, His creation of love. Oh, how I pray you come to understand how much He does love you. You think He doesn't care? Ask His Son how much the Father cares. Go to the cross with His Son and see how the Father allowed His Only Son to suffer so that His human creations might live forever. God gives meaning to the word "labor" in the phrase, labor of love. Oh, how He loves you and me.

But you can never really in the end know what becomes of that piece or even control it's fate if its not kept in your possesion, and even then there are variables that are out of your control. God has no such problem, he knows the end from the beginning and works all things after the counsel of his own will. He is letting mankind play out their own destiny through the process of freewill but he still overrules in all matters and is bringing mankind to the place and purpose he originally intended for him in his vast creation.

I don't think anybody said He pointed His finger, did they? Didn't you make that part up?
And nobody said God didn't put any effort into it, either, did they? Aren't you making that part up, too?
And then most people don't take this story as a literal news account of the creation of the universe, so maybe you ought to just sort of drop the whole question.

The Bible does not say anything about the time God thought about the creation. He spoke this universe to existence. He cares, He cares a lot. However, this place is not our final home and that is why we long to have something better. You did not have too much to say so about you being here, but you have a choice to make about the eternity.
He cares what happens to you. But do you care what happens to you? Your choice.

To think about it rationally...just because God "pointed" his finger...which to you isn't hard...doesn't mean that he doesn't care about what happens to us or this world.
The best I have ever heard it explained is that we are a grand experiment, and because of such, we were given the ability to CHOOSE right from wrong. While God lets us each choose to worship him, he still is saddened when we fail to come back to him. Consider your own children (now or future)
You will teach them in the ways that you want them to go, BUT ultimately, you can not make them do as such. You can only hope that they do.
The same with God.

I disagree. It was a gift. Of course you care about gifts you give and you hope that the recipient will appreciate the love and care you invested, but if you destroy the recipient or the gift because the recipient doesn't show respect for your gift, you have issues.
God allows tragedy because to prevent it He would have to take free will from us. Where there is no choice to love or not to love, there is no love - only slavery.
He shows His greatness in that He can overcome in us even the worst that evil can do.

I don't know everything. Like others I try to understand the world (and its condition) around me.
Your question is interesting. Could it be that Man created God or at the very least the details?
That would explain much, would it not?
