It's figuring out what you want to do with your life, based on your values, and then setting shorter-term goals, like five years, and then goals you can accomplish within one year, and then what you need to do today, this week and this month to accomplish those things you said were important to you based on your values.

the ultimate time management is chaining an eight-year old to a loom and releasing him/her only for pee breaks and sustenance. Such is life in recesses of the great sub-continent, the alleys hidden from the Dell and Microsoft phone answerers which are pretty well managed time-wise also I've heard.
