I get my hair cut soon, and I want something new. I don't want it short. Do you have any suggestions? My hair is like 4 inches past my shoulders.

i just got my hair cut to right below my shoulder. before it was like 6 inches past my shoulders and i think it is so much easier and even healtheir. at first i regreted it but now thats its been a couple weeks im glad i sucked it up and just cut it. but if you really do want to keep it long just add a few layers and maybe some side swept bangs

I always like to go to Yahoo Image search and either type in a celeb whose hair I like or like 'short hair' - see what pops up and go from there. I always recommend long shaggy layers, gives lots of movement.
