And God said "Let there be language and talking", and since then, Eve (and her descendants) have never shut up?

In the biblical concept, thinking that Adam could talk is just a natural thing, in the book of Genesis 1:3, And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.... so on and so forth, just read to you some part. Ok, notice the word SAID and CALLED, is there any talking happening there??? of course God talks so what is the relevance of what I want to prove to your question??? read this, Genesis 1:26, Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, .... Notice the word LIKENESS, (The state or quality of being like or alike; similitude; resemblance; similarity. ) So in conclusion, if God can talk man can talk, isn't it? no need for any books or what so ever just read your bible. ciao!!!! God Bless!!!!

I'm an atheist, but I've read Genesis. God spoke everything into existence. You know, he said, "Let there be light" and everything else. God created Adam in his own image (i.e., like himself) with the ability to speak.

Actually, all normal human babies are born with brains pre-wired for speech.

God gave Adam everything he needed, including a way to communicate with Him - speech. Then God felt Adam needed a helpmate, and made Eve. It seems so many people put so many limits on God who has no limitations like we do. Many things that we cannot answer (not in Bible), we must accept by faith and trust in our creator. God bless.

This is why it's virtually impossible to take the Bible literally cover to cover, as many Protestant Christians do.

Until about the time Isaiah was written, there simply wasn't any type of written record keeping, so it is impossible to say that the story of Adam is literally true.

In the realm of myth and magic, real-world rules do not apply. Thus he taught himself to talk, the angels gave him his grammar books, and the serpent marked them.

Your question makes one think of how majestic living in paradise could have been if man had never sinned. People could do things having never been taught. How sad for us that we have not experienced paradise.

additionally at Babel, God scattered the nations and changed the languages into at least 8 distinct unconnected language groups we see today

God. Either He was taught, "born" with the knowledge, or was a linguistic genius.

books weren't invented yet and I doubt he wrote with blood like Da Vinci....
