Try the Wedge Document. It was put out by the Discovery Institute (acutally it was just their statement of purpose someone leaked) but basically they've been trying to drive a 'wedge' between science and religion for years by telling people that only atheists believed in evolution. You can find it on wikipedia.

Religion is not an enemy for science, as long as religion doesn't interfere with what's been found out. I think science is an enemy for religion, because almost everything science does find out that also concerns contents of the bible, they contradict each other. Religion doesn't like that and starts twisting around science to their followers, and hate is born. Some churches even teach that science is Evil. How much more of an enemy can you imagine?

Yes, they're still enemies. Centuries ago, they used to be on the same side because religion contolled science. Now, science is too strong to be held back. Religion is becoming overwhelmed by science and in a few centuries, religion will be gone.

faith dislikes technological information as a results of fact technological information will strengthen questions approximately many factors of religion. many religious human beings do not basically like the assumption of questioning their faith; particularly they simply desire to settle for what they're informed approximately their faith at face fee. If we observed the innovations and ideology of religion; we would nevertheless think of and assume than many organic happening activities are brought about with the aid of god. human beings might nevertheless think of that the earth is the middle of the universe; that god reasons earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, thunder and lighting fixtures ect.. and ect... as a results of fact of this I desire technological information as a results of fact technological information has creditable and sturdy evidence to help a majority of its declare. faith will matter on the "god did it" theory backed with the aid of the "its in the bible" rationalization.
