I could copy-paste a lot of speeches, news, video links from this site on how countless muslims speak up againts terrorism acts. And for the ultimate proof that we muslims do speak up againts terrorism:

I'm a muslim, I condemn terrorism. But for some unknown reason the media won't cover me, not only that people intentionally ignore me when I said so, and tells me muslims never condemn terrorism.

I mean, how blind can you get?

It's a thing that Americans have been known for. Even during WW2, many Japanese-American citizens were put into camps, for the "protection" of the nation. But if, in fact, the media did portray muslims against terrorism, it will drive the national opinions about the war lower than it already is. It's just another way the government is trying to manipulate the citizens into backing their own "reason" for the war. Don't worry, most Americans out there aren't as stupid as you'd think. We all know that Muslims are good people, and don't have anything to do with the radical acts of these terrorists. They are just using the name of Islam to justify their own selfish actions. (like the Christians did in the "HOLY WARS")

The Quran preaches love, peace and tolerance yet, like the Bible, it additionally states that people who attack Islam might desire to be killed. lots of the passages of the Quran quoted via anti-Muslim bigots is paraphrased from the previous testomony, fairly Leviticus. Revolution Muslim would not talk for the accepted public of Muslims. they're an extremist factor and don't have the help of mainstream Muslims. Imams in the process the international have condemned 9/11 and different acts of terrorism yet all the clicking and clamor from the main suitable has emphasized the fatwahs of a handful of radical clerics. they have painted those mullahs as conversing for Islam. they don't.

I'll give you another example.

According to FBI statistics, firearms are used to prevent a crime over one million times each year. You will never hear this on mainstream media, because mainstream media is pure propaganda.

The media do not tell you what is happening, rather, they present selected facts and distortions in an attempt to control people's opinions.

The media will never show Muslims condemning terrorism, because they are trying to identify all Muslims with terrorism.

The moderate Muslim really has no power anywhere in the world until America and the U.K. fight and hand it to them. It is your extremists that have the power.

Extremist Islam has a foundation in the Qur'an. I agree that if the Qur'an is true then they are doing what it says to do. My problem is the fact that I do not believe the Qur'an is the true word of God.

Moderate Islam doesn't speak the right words. Say, 'Leave the Jews alone. They have a right to live where they live. Israel is no longer an Islamic country. Islam has no say in how it is run. Do not strap on bombs and blow up innocent women and children.' When moderate Islam says these things we will open our eyes and consider Islam peaceful.

I think that Muslims could be louder when talking against terrorism. I believe that many Muslims suffer for the stuff that extremists are doing.

Who is voting fundamentalists in iran, who is voting them in pakistan, who is voting them in afghanistan.
ordinary muslims, moderate muslims.
Fundamentalists may not rule the govt, but they have good share of seats in govt bodies, in those countries
In india, muslim politicians get votes just because they are muslims.
What do you call this. I call this uncivilised people who always want to finght and kill people. It is in the teachings of mohammed.
You cannot be peaceful until you shun those stupid teachings.
Sorry, no offence. It is truth. I said because you asked.

Definition of terrorism:

ter·ror·ism
–noun 1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.

Why is it that (some) Muslims who threaten and kill innocent people, in the name of righteousness, are labelled "terrorists" but George W. Bush and cohorts call their armies forth to the do same thing, and call themselves "freedom fighters"? BOTH sides of the current warring divide use violence, threats and intimidation - ALL for political purposes.

I do not condone the violence of some Muslims. But neither can violence justify futher violence against innocents! Those who fight terrorism with counter-terrorism are complete hypocrites.

The only way to truly fight terrorism is to help the poor and uneducated (in both US and Islamic nations) to understand things the way they really are, and stop thinking in terms of "them" and "us".

We are all children of God. Those who kill for political power are all twisted, evil-doers - even if they call themselves by holy names like "Muslim" and "Christian". A true follower of Almighty God fights evil by being good; fights ignorance by being wise; fights hatred by being loving; fights greed by being generous.

As a westerner, I think that I would prefer to live in fear of my life from terrorists, than to live in fear of my soul for countenancing the murder of thousands of innocents in Islamic nations.

Do not feed the morons. Ignore the morons. I repeat do not feed the morons. Ignore the morons. I don't know I guess some people choose to ignore certain things due to their biased outlook towards certain people rather then see the positives they focus on the negatives.
