Scripture to prove blood drinking wrong???

Question

hi guys,
doing this for a friend. She is a new Christian, and used to be satanist. She had stopped the whole blood drinking thing, but now her faith in God is weak. I need Scripture to prove to her that it is wrong. Can you guys help? SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY please!

Well... I think the primary reason blood drinking is wrong is just because you have to injure somebody to acquire the blood.

I'm not at all convinced that religion will solve this woman's problems. She *could* have porphyria or some other disorder that compels her to want to drink blood, but I'm inclined to think that she needs psychological help. This is NOT meant to be disparaging, but drinking blood is not healthy. Aside from the obvious psychological ramifications, blood borne pathogens like AIDS and hepatitis are serious risks. I'm sure you are thrilled that your friend has "found God," but I think she probably needs more help than you or your Church can offer. I hope she is able to get the help she needs!

Hello I am Jehovah ´Witness the bible in Acts 15:28-29 said

For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to YOU, except these necessary things, 29 to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication. If YOU carefully keep yourselves from these things, YOU will prosper. Good health to YOU!”

If you notice forbid two things the first one to eat animals with the blood inside the second the blood no use it at all, thw only blood that we are allowed to "use" is Jesus ´s blood (Luke 22:19) that is why we don´t accept blood transfusion, because it is like we are accepting that the life is given by someone else instead of Jesus he is the only one that can give us life.

Incidentally, all the same verses that Jehovah's Witnesses cite when defending their belief that they shouldn't get blood transfusions.

i knew two satanists. neither one drank blood. i know a lot of christians who order their steak rare, tho.

by the way- i'm pagan and we don't sacrifice animals. just thought i'd clear up another myth.

You don't need scripture to know that you shouldn't drink blood. The bible doesn't have all the answers.

Just tell her that diseases and viruses circulate in blood, and some of those can be deadly.
