Because our politicians use words like "Islamofascists", and the media continues to make remarks like Sunni terrorists groups and Shiite terrorists, implying that Sunni, Shia and Muslims in general, are all terrorists.

You have to understand that our mainstream media are really a sophistocated version of the Ministry of Propaganda that functioned in Nazi Germany.

Mainstream media have been attacking our right to keep and bear arms for over four decades. They have coined such phrases as "Saturday Night Special", "Cop Killer Bullets", and "Assault Weapons". They have referred to some weapons as "semi-automatic machine guns". They refer to people and organizations that are fighting to protect our civil rights, specifically the Second Amendment, as "The Gun Lobby".

With the exception of Lew Dobbs, the media refuse to mention the NAFTA Super Highway or the proposed North American Union that this administration is working on. They are hiding the facts from the America people.

They have continued to coverup of prior knowledge of the Oklahoma Bombing. Books have been written about this, The New American magazine (www.thenewamerican.com) has written extensively about it. Mainstream media refuse to mention it.

I'm afraid that you are not going to get much help from our media. You need to go around mainstream media to get your message out. Yahoo Answers is a good place to start. Another place you might try is The New American Magazine. It is one of the alternate news sources.

i believe it is because of two reasons:
1)people like to blame others for things that happen. it scares people when there is no concrete excuse for something. now, i am NOT diminshing the effect and inhumanity of extremist acts of terror. there are serious reasons for why things like this happen. however, people in general have a hard time excepting that a few people were ill and had very messed-up beliefs. they instead would like to pin it on their culture, religion, or upbringing. it makes it easier for them to understand and accept, and less alien.
2) ties into the first- people don't like what they do not understand. also: bandwagon mentality and the media. when the public is in a state of panic, and they see pictures of who maybe has committed an act of terror or crime, the next time they see something similar their minds will automatically click into the same mindset.

Because the media never has a story about a nice muslim family helping the world, but you put one retard in a bomb vest and the media will flock to him like flies on poo. Since the media is how most people get their information, and the only time muslims are portrayed is this negative way, that is how common people see them.

If you are a white male then you must be:Gay, a crime boss, or trailer trash

If you are a Black male: You are a gangster, or act goofy on a routine basis, or yell for no reason

If you are a mother:You stay at home and complain while doing nothing but shopping and ignoring your children

If you are a father: You are stupid, beat your kids, or drink horrendously

Why? Because tucked away all snug in the middle of the circle of muslim folks who are "loving and caring" are they who want us dead. Gee, muslims will have to excuse us WHILE WE TRY TO KEEP OUR KIDS ALIVE.

because there have been no key islamic figures speaking out against the terrorist acts of small groups of zealots. If a prominent member of the Islamic religion publicly denounced the actions of these terrorists, then the blame would be placed soley on the terrorist, not Islam as a whole.

No Muslims to date have helped whatsoever with identifying, finding, or forecasting radical activity. Your silence speaks volumes. What about the financial support you provide secretly to radical Islam?
