Where did Noah keep all the Hippos on the Ark?

I've read all the answers so far....and lots of those Christian people have just shown how little they know about their very own Bible.. Check out Genesis 7:2 Noah was told to take 7 of each "clean" animal (I'm making an assumption here that Hippos, living in the water most of their lives would be "clean"), and only 2 (male and female) of the unclean beasts. So you've got 7 hippos, 7 elephants, 7 giraffes, etc, and only 2 of those dirty little Pigs, and so on.

Now I guess that Noah might just have let the Hippos swim along AFTER the Ark - did he put leashes on them? If he didn't, how can we be sure that their little paddly feet were able to keep up for forty days and nights with the rapidly-sailing Ark?

Indeed these are the BIG questions! Keep it up, Spikey and Scruffy's Mummy, I think I love you.

Well, actually, Noah was a great mathematician, and using geometry, he figured out the best area for them was outside, tied up under an awning.

He was the first person to come up with the idea of the hippo-noose.

The bible isn't very clear on their exact location in the ark but I believe there were only supposed to be 2 of them. I'm sure as big as the ark was, that there was plenty of room for all those silly animals.

aw, i'm pagan and i think this is unfair. scientists have proved the big flood theory and in that area and in that time. i'm sure it would've seemed as if the whole world was flooded. i must say, i don't think hippos were native to that area. and i think it would've just been two, had they been present to board. male and female.

whether or not the christian god is real, the bible is a historical text. perhaps better viewed as a primitive one, but one either way. and ofcourse it's missing some parts.

Lower level section H. Be my guess.

Lower level because they are a heavy species of animal.

Section H because Noah probally had living sections for animals in alphabetical order.

and it was only two not all.
