Whenever I try to play a file on the player, it says ADOBE FLASH PLAYER NEEDED, even though I just installed it. Why is this happening? How can I fix it?

First, make sure you are installing it on administrator account. If not, uninstall it, and reinstall on the administrator. Second, try restarting your computer. Third, try deleting all your temporary internet files and cookies (can be done by going to tools in your browser, then internet options)

Either it's an issue with the site you're looking at, or your installation is messed up. You could try downloading a Flash uninstaller package, running that, then reinstall.

You will need to use the uninstaller from their website. http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157
You will then be able to install it.
