I'm 15 years old and my sister is just two years older then me. We go to the same high school and shes amazing at everything. Shes in the top 5% of her huge class and shes the 3rd best runner in the region. Then theres me, I'm the youngest, 130 something in my class of about 330 and a bench warmer on my varsity soccer team. I'm constatnly picking fights with her, and although I blame it on other stuff, its because I'm jealous. Wicked jealous.

We all have talents you just havent found yours yet dont feel that way towards your sis besides she may in twenty year reunion be the fat trailer trash girl with eight kids and youll own your own business and be married to some hunk ha ha
my sis and i are four years apart we were opposites growing up now we both have kids and talk often

You've already started the process by acknowledging that you are jealous of her. Find your own strengths and focus on them...it sounds like you wish you had your sister's talents...You have some of your own, you need to seach them out and develop them...pretty soon you will be the rising star in the areas that you do best in.

I had this problem with my sisters. I never felt like I measured up. Then I realized that I was better than them at some things.
It sounds like you are compairing your performance in two events (academics and athletics) that she is very good in. But are you better at other things like singing or cooking? Or can you develope talents in other areas that she is not interested in so that you are not always compairing yourself to her? It might help.
Also, as you get older and go to college and move away, you will meet people who have never met her and will never compare you to her and will value you based on yourself.

Tell her that you are jealous of how easy everything is for her. Ask her for help. She will start helping you and you two will become closer.
