Because the USA is a imperialist superpower. War is part of its decadent mentallity. Like Rome, like Spain and like Britain. Its establishment needs wars to keep "profits", and I am no Marxists, flowing. And I stand on what I say. "Conservative superpatriots fascists" won't intimidate me.

Korea was a United Nation action. So the USA was responding to the UN position.
Vietnam was already at war when the USA stepped in. The USA believed it was defending a democratic country against communism.
Afganistan and Iraq was done in response to Al Quada's war on the USA. We were attacked first by Al Quada, and we went after them. Iraq is less clear. It was believed that Saddam Hussain was a continual sore point for the USA and that it was necessary to remove him.
Now everyone in the USA wants the us to get out of Iraq but many feel that we have a responsibility to the people of Iraq. If we pull out now would this only create more suffering for the people of Iraq?

The Korean & Vietnam wars were fought to stop the spread of Communism which was really a part of the over all Cold War.
Iraq was invaded by the US becuase Saddam was a Major threat to Israel & they wanted him out of power only they didn't have a big enough military to invade Iraq so they told the US (thru the Neocons) to invade Iraq.

Who's us? You're not from America. Your sentence structure gives you away. Apart from that, America didn't invade Korea, we defended it from a communist Chinese invasion that had already consumed the northern half of the country and threatened the Southern Half. Same with Vietnam. They didn't have to invade to make themselves a threat, because they're in missile range. Don't be naive- everybody wages war. It's human nature. Why does Palestine still fight for lands that were never really theirs?
