People always tell me to vote or say to take a stand at an abortion clinic, I understand and have no problem taking a stand for Christ . But I was lead to believe that God is in control and if he wants to bring the end times he can. So we know that a lot of the things we fight against are going to happen But yet people get mad at me when I don't vote they tell me that if I don't vote it is gonna bring on the things we don't want . If God is in control then why the worry? I mean what am I truly gonna change if God wants it to happen or not happen? Please some clarity on this would really help me.

Preach on sista!~ God does not want us to worry. The things we worry about is nothing to Him. It is a sin to worry, because we should leave everything to Him and not try to do His work. He is the king of the territory and this is why I try my best not to stress over things like school and my future and stuff because I know He has a lot in store for me and remember everything happens for a reason. Yes, there is violence out there in the world everyday, but He isn't going to tap us on out shoulders and tell us we can't do this or that...it's called having a free will and whatever we do wrong, we have to pay on the day of judgement and ask for forgivenss...this is why He had Jesus die on the cross for our sins....I think if it weren't for Jesus dying for us, anyone who sins would probably go to Hell. I hope this helps, sweetie!~

God does'nt interact with us directly, we interact with ourselves directly. consider this, it doesnt really matter weather or not evil or the devil exist. But it does matter say for instance if someone like Richard Remiraz A.K.A. "The Night Stalker" who believes in causing "real" physical harm in the name of evil as a motivating force believes that the Devil or evil exist because his actions have a Physical effect on reality.... Dont sit back and expect God to take care of everything for you, you are in control of your own fate and have an influence on the fate as others as a whole if they believe what you believe in and act on those beliefs by demonstrating them physically in reallity.. oh and keep abortion legal!!! :)

You are right. Biblically lived, we are not to be invested in the world's affairs. If we act, it is not to change the world as much as it is to be obediant to God. Do not let those Christians who become engrossed in what happens in the world deceive you into being the same way. They have displaced their proper priorities. You would do right to live in communion with God, and let his will flow through you in action as you pursue only your relationship with him.

Wal-mart was going to give money to support the gay agenda this winter but Christians joined together and boycotted. Wal-mart changed their mind. Toys for Tots was not going to distribute Jesus dolls and Christians boycotted, and they changed their minds. Christians together can accomplish many things.

We are to be in the World, but not a part of it. The world hates us as it hated Christ. We have no influence at all.
