junk yards?

I live near Rochester, NY . Does anyone know of where I can find a junk yard or somewhere I can get free stuff to recycle ? I'm looking for furniture mainly . I am also interested in any buildings that might be set for demo. that might have woodwork .

My daughter just discovered an Internet site called Freecycle.com.

If you have something to get rid of you just list it. It must be free. Take a look for your area. It is amazing all of the things people list to give away.

It cannot hurt to give it a try.
