I would truly be amazed if people did not believe Jesus actually existed. Yes I believe He existed. I also believe every claim He made.

Jesus existed alright. There is more historical evidence to prove His existence then there is to prove the existence of Julius Caesar or Alexander the Great. So if you don't believe Jesus ever lived, you also don't believe Caesar or Alexander the Great ever lived. Even most Atheists believe in His existence, but they question His divinity. There are only a small amount of Atheists that question whether He lived or not, but they have not read the historical documents written by very reputable historians that explain His life in great detail and proved that He lived.

The historicity of Jesus is doubtful, and I do not believe that he ever lived. There is no concrete evidence to prove that he existed. Many have suggested that because he is so widely known that he must have been real, but I would point out that there also was no King Arthur, Robin Hood, Odysseus, etc. (Before you say that everyone knows those guys are fictitious, I know many people who do not believe me that King Arthur was not a real person.) Alternatively, he may indeed have existed, but stories about his divinity and power were fabricated and then exaggerated. Even if we choose to accept the Bible's account of his life as proof of his existence, many Christians will even point out that some Biblical characters (such as Jonah, Samson and even Adam) are inventions used to illustrate a point and weren't actually real, which proves that a person being mentioned in the Bible is not proof of their existence.
If there ever was such a person as Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified as a false Messiah he was not divine and did not perform miracles.

Jesus really existed. Not only does Christianity have a detailed record of his life in the New Testament, there are references to him in Islam, and in many political documents from the era. Do you really think he didn't exist? Just consider this one fact. Our years are counted as BC and AD, and they just happen to coincide with his life. This is a worldwide way of counting time.
Also, would an imaginary character be able to inspire people for 2000 years? To change the course of history? I most definitely believe he existed.

Well for someone who didn't exist we sure have a lot of stuff written by unsympathetic sources that dates to not long after he lived. (Tacitus in AD 64, Eliezer in the 90's, Pliny about 112, Josephus in the 60's, and Suetonius about 49.) All Jews or Romans. All critical of Him or his followers - but none of them denying he existed.
We can debate who He was, but I think it's pretty hard to deny He ever existed.

No means of deciding.
I think it ought to go without saying that the stories in the gospels are the stuff of legend. Whether the man (or men; there is evidence that the character may be composite) they purport to describe ever actually walked the earth, there's no evidence whatsoever either way.
Since somebody mentioned Josephus, though - the passage referring to Jesus in Josephus is almost universally regarded as spurious by legitimate scholars - and anyway, he was NOT contemporary with Jesus.

The Jewish Historian Josephus says he existed. Tacitus the Roman Historian says he existed. Pontis Pilate, who actually tried him in criminal trials, says he existed in his writings to Rome. You have to discredit some of the greatest 1st Century Historians to totally believe Jesus did not exist.

Jesus of Nazareth existed, but he was not the son of any divine being. He was a gifted teacher, prophet, and sorcerer whose continuing influence serves as an inspiration to people of all faiths.

No because people would never have waited 300-400 years to write about him, there would be contemporary writers actually mentioning him, I am shocked that the lack of archaeology is not more widely known to the public. All those buildings mentioned in the Bible have never been found & people have been digging since at least the 18th century. I suppose it's extremely unnerving to discover this & so people continue to insist that evidence has been found, yet like that ossuary box a few years back, it turns out to be another fake.
