I used to have problems with my skin, but i now have a regimen that works well for me. What I do is every morning, wash my face with hot water before and after using st. ives apricot scrub, to soften the blow to my skin (it dries you out A LOT). But, when i get pimples, i put the scrub aside (it will only irritate the pimple) and used Clearasil ultra deep pore cleansig pads. they have cheesy commercials, but IT DOES WORK! within two days, with very little redness, the pimple is gone. good luck with yours!

I'm no proffessional, but if you have sensitive skin and pimples or acne it's best not to use a scrub because your just irritating your skin. Try something more soothing, even if its not pro activ ther is a number of affordable products in the market today. Experiment with things and remember you skin is different from everyone elses so things that work for your friends might or might not work for you. don't give into celebrity endorsements on commercials like pro activ because they get paid to support that product. i highly doubt they used pro activ. Best of luck

Apricot Scrub isn't for zits, hun!! I Suggest a deep cleanesr. or something like that. Scrubs are simply to scrape off all the dead skin and make it smooth. Not to treat acne.

Wash your face twice a day and after excersize. if you wanna make it go away, before you go to bed, try a really thin layer of Colgate toothpaste on top of the pimple and wait till it dries up. Or u can dab it with rubbing alchohol a couple times a day to make the redness go away. If you really have a prob with pimples go to your doctor and have him perscribe a medication like a face gel. Those antibiotics always work.

Well heres the problem already- using a scrub on your face will not do you any good at ALL!! What happens when you use a scrub is that it spreads all of the bacteria on your face as it clogs your inner pores.
TIPS
DO NOT POP YOUR PIMPLES
DO NOT USE ANY OILY MAKE-UP OR OILY MOISTERIZER
PROACTIVE REALLY WORKS!!!

for one...don't use apricot scrub because it has been known to scar the face...i don't mean big ugly scars but the small micro scars that will not be beneficial when you get older...apricots are too abrasive....you are at the age of hormones and growing up and alot could be your health...you should ask yourself about your lifestyle...do you eat alot of greasy take out foods...carbonated drinks....smoke and so forth...and then use a good cleansing brand and stick to it loyally....cleanse,,,exfoliate,,,extractions....toner and moisturizer....you should keep the same routine...stick to it ...

don't over do it. your skin is sensitive. its like taking medicine, if u take more than u should, it does more harm than good.

try using a product such as Neutrogena for acne. if it's really bad, maybe you can look into ProActive Solutions for your acne, but this is pricer and not usually over the counter.
