Bagels are actually really bad for you. 1 bagels is like 5 slices of bread. Also, cream cheese is very fatty. I know you want something quick, but, like you said, breakfeast is important so gve yourself a least a little bit of time. An ideal breakfeast has a fruits/veggies, protien and some carbs, Here are some suggestions that take 5 min or so to make, if not less. 1. Cereal such as cornflakes or cheerios (or anything that has none or very litle sugar and high in fibre) with 1/2 of a banana and 1 cup of milk. 2. Oatmeal with a shredded apple in it and a tablespoon of peanut butter. 3. Eggs (scrambled, omlet or even hardboiled) . 1 egg and 2 egg whites is good, or even just 1 egg with a fruit and a piece of toast with 1 tsp of sugar-free jam. 4. An omlet ( i know that's an egg again) with veggies, 1 ounce of cheese (cheddar or swiss) and 2 ounces of extra lean ground beef. 5. French toast made with 2 slices of whole whead bread and 1 egg, and 1 tablespoon of real maple syrup. Top it with 1 cup of berries of your choice. 6. Grapefruits are also very good in the morning for your metabolism. Just remember that grocery store foods like nutri grain bars etc are really not good for you. The sugar content is extremely high, even if they are advertised as healthy, which is not a good way to start the day. Hopefully some of these ideas help. One thing I do is make my breakfeast the night before when I make my lunch so I have more time in the morning.

Quakers good old fashioned oatmeal (Not the prepackaged instant stuff with all the preservatives) with a teaspoon of brown sugar and a splash of milk. I love it and it's extremely healthy. My brothers and I ate it all the time when we were kids and had no complaints.
1 part oats, 2 parts water, dash of salt and approx. 2 min. in the microwave. You wanted fast right?
