If you're abnormal in that, then a lot of us are. Relax.

Hey I'm 26 and ever since I was a teenager I liked older men... some people asked if I grew up with my father ... becasue people tend to think that you might be looking for a father figure in your life, in my case I have a great father, he is always been there for me... and I guess I feel guys my age aren't mature enough or maybe older men tend to treat me with more respect and actually pays attention to the real me... so No I wouldn't say it's abnormal...

I don't think that's abnormal at all. But when you say that you don't know why then that's a little bit strange. I mean, what do you like about men in their 40s versus men in their 20s?

Not abnormal. When I was in my 40s I dated a lot of women who were 20 years younger than me. Finally got hitched at 50 with a woman my age. Still with her, still very happy. Just turned 65 this week.

A lot of women your age like guys in their forties so I guess you could say it is not abnormal. It depends upon your maturity I suppose but personally I think you should stick to guys closer to your own age at this time of your life. Usually most guys that age have a lot of baggage such as kids, child support, a lot of financial obligations that someone closer to your age may or may not have. If you think that you can handle all that then go for it. If not then try the younger ones.

The probable answer is that you appreciate men who are more secure about their lives there jobs and are done playing games. This is a time for men to be more settled, College is long gone , They know what the want in their relationships. Really they are over the macho posturing bull s=**. and It's nice to have a grownup conversation But that's just the way most of my Friends and I were then.

It may not be the norm, but it's certainly okay as long as you both are okay with it. You're an adult. I'm 27 and dated a 60 year old for awhile and even though we've broken up, we're best friends to the day. You just have to keep in mind that you'll be relatively young when they are senior citizen age and if you're certain that you'd be okay having to take care of someone else like that, then more power to you! I would've married my guy in a heartbeat!

When I was in my 20's, 30's and now 40's I always liked men in their 40's. I wonder if it will continue in the 50's and 60's.
You just want men who are mature and hopefully have their act together.

Some girls like to date older men so it's not really that abnormal. As long as you are happy and comfortable that's all that matters.

They say women mature faster than men, you are probably seeing more things in common with men that are older because you have matured more than the guys in your age group. If you're worried you could just keep dating for a while until the men your age mature hehe.

Yes, There comes a time when we all realize that they have more to offer and are definately far more mature. Face it, look at Tom Cruise, John Stamos,John Travolta, Brad Pitt, and George Clooney, they are sooooo much hotter now than when they were 20//// Agree?
