the harder it is for muscles the bigger they will get.
dont do crunches if you are trying to lose weigh - all you will get is bigger belly (if you have some fat there)

Well you'd get upper abs anyway--but you'd never get a 6pack. In order to to get abs you have to work more than just the upper abs--you have to work lower and sides as well. But no, you can't do too many crunches. If you are highly active, it would probably be possible to do over 1000 a day. I used to do roughly 500 a day (over the course of the day--not all at one time)

yea but i dont think u can do to many crunches unless u do and u get hurt

don't know about the abs, but my 7yo wanted to show me how many he could do (btw it was a ton) and he did the ever popular "technicolor yawn."

you can do 10000 a day but if you have a layer of fat over them you still won't see them
