That is right, Jesus called the Most High God, Jehovah, his God and his Father...
John 17:3: "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.'
John 17:6: "“I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have observed your word."
Psalm 83:18: "That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth."

If you are talking about other names for GOD that is simple. The names are simply to distinguise HIS MANY different virtues and abilities. HE is El Elyon=GOD MOST HIGH.
HE is Jehovah Nissi= The LORD my Banner. HE is El Roi=The GOD who sees me.

As most know, the bible is a compilation of myths, fables, and stories of illiterate, superstitious, nomadic wanderers. Anything contained therein should be viewed in that context...
Unless one has independent, varifiable, colateral evidence of such a statement, it has to be viewed with much scepticism.

If God, then His name is I AM. That's what He told Moses. "I AM that I AM - tell them 'I AM' has sent me".
He is also YHWH, Jehovah, Abba, and several others. Each has a significant meaning to God.
