Im in need for a science project solution. We used a certain meter and it gave the same voltage for each solution we used to measure it. NEED OF DESPERATE HELP!

I need more information before I can answer it, such as, what kind of solution you are using or what voltage you observed when the experiment was done at school.

I imagine what you did was, you had a solution, and you had two electrodes. You measured the voltage generated between the electrodes.

If that is the case, it probablly generated about 1 volt or less.

An independent meter of this kind is kind of hard to get, unless you know where to look and what to buy.

What I suggest is, you visit either Home Depot, Lowes, Sears or Radio Shack, and purchase a MULTI-METER.

A Multi-meter is a kind of meter with a knob, and you can select multiple functions depending on how you set it. You can buy either a digital kind or analog kind. It starts anywhere from around 15 dollars and goes up from there. You only need a very cheap one.

If you set the meter to the few volt range in DC V setting, you should be able to measure something.

Good luck.

I think you will need a decent conductivity meter, which might be kind of expensive, such as this one:
