I bought a plantain for my kids to try but I don't know how to serve it

No, plaintains are much starchier than bananas.... usually they are sliced thinly and fried, then sprinkled w saltt, or cinnamon-sugar.

No, if you eat a raw plantain chances are you'll get sick to your stomach. It may not be the healthiest way but cutting them up in slices and squishing them with the back of a spoon, and frying them to a golden color is the best way.

Think of plaintains like potatoes. You need to cook them first. They are also called Tostones (plaintains)

nooooooooooooo. you slice them, then dip them in egg and flour, and fry them, then serve with ice cream, or karo syrup, or honey... or anything sweet and yummy
