Me and my boyfriend been together for 2 yrs. Ever since we met things moved real quick like he moved in with me in like 1 month, we fell in love and all of that. I remember about 3 months in the relationship he mentioned he loved me so much he could see himself marrying me in a couple months...Well a year and a half later he tells me he just doesn't feel ready. It annoys me but I still love him, Do yous think he is wasting my time? he's a good dude a little lazy, but what man it ain't.

You don't mention your age.

The problem is and I've seen this many times, is the guy will drag it on and on. I've seen couples 10 years and still not ready to get married. If it goes more then 3 years I think it is acceptable to move on. After 3 years you certainly know each other good enough to make a life long commitment.

2 years isn't that long. True love will wait for anything, so I think you have to be the judge of that and stay with him if you have strong feelings for him. If not, you're wasting HIS time. If it's meant to be, it will be, and you two will be together when the time is right. What hurry are you in?

Why do women ask this question? Look at it another way- The guy wants to have sex with the girl, but the girl isn't ready. Should the guy dump her, even though he loves her still? Of course not. You just have to wait.

marriage is not a necessity in life. some people just never get married. if it really means a lot to you, then... i would still not break up with him just for that. people change their minds all the time. if you love him, stay with him. love is an amazing thing. cherish what you have, because for all you know, it could be gone tomorrow.

If you love him, then I don't think your making a mistake by staying with him.
If he doesn't feel ready then you have to respect that.
Just talk to him about it and see if he feels like the relationship is moving foward rather than falling back!
Good luck!
