Before I was saved, we tested the Ouija Board, and it was able to pass tests that we had no control over. Go with your gut instincts, there is something real alright, and you should not get involved with it. They are lying spirits bent on drawing you away from eternal salvation in Christ. This was actually part of our test, and I praise God it did not draw me away from finding Jesus.

It's known as the ideo-motor response. Hold a pendulum on a string in one hand and hold your hand perfectly still... the pendulum will swing. This is due to the minute unconscious movements of your hand. These can begin th move the planchette slowly and as it gets going you and your partner(s) will actually move with it subconsciously increasing this effect.
There's nothing supernatural about Ouija Boards... or anything else for that matter.

As a child I remember watching a group of adults playing with one. My mother and another were on the board, one of the others asked a question about something that had happened to them which was unknown to the group but letter by letter it spelled out what had happened. Spooky!! Needless to say I didn't sleep that night. Personally I feel they are evil, an impression I've had since that time as a child.

If you "played" that so called game you have more than likely have had a unholy baptizm/possession. That is Satan/the Devils game no lie. I can tell you story after story about what that game and the Horrors it has caused me and my family. Obviously you aern't a Christian and if you had any clue you would be running up to the highest mountain top you could find to fast and pray that the lord would forgive you for touching said game. You have just fallen into bondage to witch craft and watch your dreams and things that go bump in the night. The dead may rise for you, and they may be Hell raisers you have no idea the Horror's of Hell are. All I will say is I hope you find Jesus but know you may have to walk threw the fire if you do,Some threw the water some threw the blood Im walking threw the fire but all threw the blood . Good luck and I'm sorry for that game and what has happend I hope you find Christ remember to talk about things always it can help you make it threw hard testing this forum would be good. And remembur this If Satan has you in the fire he will leave you alone. It's when God loves you and excepts you as his own the you will see.

Well, I don't believe in Oui Ja boards but the same thing happened to me and my friend when played with it, I found some information that might help you decide for your self because this is a question that believers and skeptics can't agree with.

Do you really beleive it? Then try this simple experiment....
Get your friend to use the Board, but only allow her to use it while blindfolded.
You will then note that when your friend is blindfolded, the "evil spirits" lose their ability to spell properly. Why? Because you (or her in this case) are subconciously controlling the planchette yourself....and when you cant see the letters, you cant spell it out correctly...

Nothing supernatural ever happened with my ouija board, but I know that I and my friends used to move it to make goofy messages and freak someone out.
My opinion? They're completely harmless and virtually useless. I have heard that some people can move the planchette subconsciously.
With the people who claim that something supernatural or dangerous happened, you're either lying, exaggerating or you imagined the whole thing.

Ouija boards are for entertainment value only. They predict the future and answer questions in a similar fashion as throwing darts at a dart board.

It works because of a little phenomenon called the ideomotor effect. You're right that neither you nor her were moving it consciously. You were both moving it subconsciously.
