this morning a reenactment of the verginia tech and columbine school shootings most happend at my school. some boys said they are going to shoot up the school. i didnt know anything about it until i got to the school. others knew ahead of time.... they quickly had school security the police dpt to enter the school and stop anything that was happening. parents stomerd the school trying to get there child. now 1 of the boys is in police custody. belive it or not this was a real threat and if nobody had told others and there parents i probably would not be here right now.my school is one of the best schools in TN. and noone can belive this attempt to shoot up my school. theo ther boys just got suspended from school. there is a chance that the boys will return to the school and try again. should i go to school tomorrow? what will you do if this happend at your child school?

No way in hell would my kids be returning. If I had a threat in their school they would be pulled immediatley! Sorry better to take time and home school then have dead children.

I think parents across America should keep their kids out of school until the schools can prove that they are doing something to keep kids safe.
Schools get "paid" by the state based on average daily attendance. If the attendance suddenly drops, they will be losing funding. Everything revolves around money, so this is the way parents can use their power to force the schools to actually do something to make schools safer.
Of course, a lot of parents have to go to work, and can't afford to keep their kids home from school (if they are too young.) But, if they are in high school, they could keep them home for a day or two.
Parents have a right to keep their kids out of school if they are not convinced the schools are safe.

if you really feel threatend then i would take the day at home if its ok with your parents of course. Id spend that day on the phone with the principal and anyone that has any influence until the matter is 100% under control. I wouldnt let my kids go near there til it was fixed and they had everybody involved locked away. These little kids are serious more times then people think. The kids need to be expelled with charges brought for even bringing it up. These kids need to know that this is not something to joke about.

Talk to your parents hun, they might close the school for a few days but I doubt it. If you don't feel safe talk to someone but I think you should go back with heightened awareness. Unfortunately, kids can't hide out at home and homeschool until violence subsides because that doesn't appear to be happening in this day and age.

This is total insanity!!! all of these kids are so emotionally disturbed and want to hurt everyone else.
In my area of ohio a 4th GRADE boy had a hit list.
The police removed a shot gun from his parents house.
The boy was removed from school and the parents were encouraged to seek therapy!

I would probably let my child stay home the next day if she felt uncomfortable...but only if I saw it on the news and knew it was a true issue.

it happened to my school on Thursday and most of the school didn't go on Friday, but i wouldn't be to worried. The kids should and most likely will get suspended.

i would be calling your news station and ask for there help in bringing this story to light and maybe the boys would get more than a slap on the hand. more like reform school.i pray to God that you are not making this up, because if you are, God help your soul!
