i dont think its so simple as just getting the swelling to go down. U cant treat the symptoms, u have to treat whats causing the symptoms. if the lymphnode, knots just below you ears then it an infection and your in dire need of antibiotics. but since the uvula (the bell) it is most likely an allergic rection, if u have guts u can take one benedryl and see if it goes down but that sounds serious and needs medical attention!

You can try drinking some water with ice to see if that helps ease some of the discomfort you feel but this situation definitely needs to be evaluated by your dr to see what they think could be going on.
