I am writing an analysis of circuit simulation software, more specifically which one is the best for the lowest cost.

I'm writing it for school, but I have to write it from the point of view of an Electrical Engineer working for a small engineering firm which is interested in new software.

i used ADS in school and it is an industry standard. Hspice is also good and is an industry standard. im sure on the price of those softwares though.

Lowest cost: free... and it is very good.

Spice or HSpice is probably the best
