You should not be taking birth control pills lightly. Although they are safe for most women, they do have side affects that need to be watched for. Girls should not take birth control, women should consider it.

Girls should start taking birth control as soon as possible when they even slightly feel the desire to perform any such activities. Hopefully you are of a decent age. Hold on to your innocents as long as you can. Remember, multiply the number of people you are with by 4 and this is usually how many you actually do this with. Because these are the other people they were with. This is all in reference to STD's. Do use birth control if you are seriously considering sex because having a child when your not ready will considerably alter your life.

Well when your old enough and mature enough to remember that just because your taking the pill you shoudln't wear protection when your having sex. SO why take the pill if you use protection and if you don't paln on using protection well it can get you lots of troubles that some you can't get rid off. But to start the pill it shoudl be done a month before you start ahving sex.

A girl who thinks dating is about having physical intercourse should consider that she needs to get protection from becomming a young mother, who has to hand her bay over to adoption or her mother. So if your a kid who has any notion of undressing even a zipper----- you want to get your self--to planned parenthood, where they'll load you up with info on what to do so you don't have a baby. Also consider you do not need to have sex. Ask an older woman 40s' for advice, one who goes to church, that you admire, she'll tell you alot about dating at your age.

I think you mean birth control pills, right?

Before they become sexually active... got to be an educated choice with parents involved and in agreement tho, that's the tough part.

when they plan to become sexually active, BUT always use a condom!!!! to protect from std's and have the birth control as a backup method to prevent pregnancy, and a parent should be aware of, and involved in all of these decisions

When they're mature enough, assuming they don't hold religious beliefs otherwise. This could be different, but I would guess between ages 17 and 20.
