Well, no, the two broken arms are definitely not a blessing. But God has used this situation to bless you in many ways. He will always bring good to His children who find themselves in a bad situation. It's one of the privileges of being His child. Praying you have a quick recovery.

It depends on how you look at it. To me, the blessing is that it wasn't any worse and that you have family and friends to support you. That really is a blessing.

Last Monday my hubby rolled his car several times. The car is lost, he's out of work for a while, but the only major injury is a badly fractured arm (I take him for surgery Thursday). Yes, it's very painful but I can't express the relief that I felt when I found out that he was alive. He will heal in time but that is infinitely better than having to live my life without him. He hates needing help to do everything but it really is my pleasure. I'd much rather be by his side helping him than sitting in a cemetery wishing that I had only a few more minutes with him. So yes, I see this as a great blessing.

Is the actual injury a blessing? No... I think not. However, the Bible says that ALL things work together for the good for those that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. The broken arms may not be a blessing... but what comes from that can be.

The broken arms aren't but the ones who love you and taking care of you are surely a blessing.

I'm sorry you are hurt, but what a blessing to KNOW that the Lord has brought your church family together to help out!

We do not know what is a blessing or curse until we can see the entire picture.
