-13 years old
-99 pounds
-consumes about 1200 calories a day
-wants to be 94 pounds
-want to be consuming 800 calories a day, but for some stupid reason, my body keeps eating...augh!!
I know 99 pounds doesn't sound like much, but it is, believe me. I have the worst stomach gut/flabby thighs/chubby face ever...

STOP STARVING YOUR BODY!!!! I am a nurse and I can tell you right now that you are starving your body. Anything less than 1200 calories a day especially at your age when you are still growing is extremely dangerous!
When you each less calories then what your body needs to function on a daily basis it will being to hold on to the food you do eat and store it. This means you will not loose weight. And if you do begin to loose weight it is because your body will begin eating it self and using your muscle as a food and energy source.
If you want to change your appearance you need to exercise and work those target areas. Pilates is great for building muscle and toning your target areas that you would like to slim down. Also, walking/ jogging for 30min a day can have a huge impact on your body.
You can cause your body to alter your growth patterns and have serious health issues if you continue to do what you are doing. Dieting is fine so long as you are eating the right foods. Eating more fruits and veggies, and whole wheat’s and fibers, along with good amounts or protein (like eggs. lean chicken or pork, and fish) will help you to feel full and sustain your energy all day long. Also, at lest 8glasses of water a day!!! That is 4 16oz water bottles daily.
Another thing you can do is to start taking vitamins daily they will help to balance out your metabolism and refuel your body with any vitamins or minerals you may be lacking.
I actually recommend the South Beach Diet to my patients since it teaches you how to eat right and it is very healthy!
Please do not starve yourself! If you have any questions you can always talk to your doctor about what you should and should not be eating. You can also talk to a personal trainer and get workout advice from them as well. Your school gym teacher my be able to help you out or if you belong to a gym they often have free first training secessions or low rates to meet with a trainer for and assessment. Good Luck!!!

Honey stop at the Idea of eating 800 calories..you are going to screw up your metabolism and then by the time your 21 you will have an extremely hard time losing weight. Your body wants to keep eating cause your still growing! You are perfectly fine at your current weight. and 1200 calories is really not a lot of food. keep eating and do some exercise a couple of days a week, lift some light weights to tone up, but remember when you lift weights you might weigh more on the scale but look thinner because muscle weighs more than fat.
and your face is chubby cause your young, it will change as puberty kicks in. Don't worry about it so much now you haven't finished growing and changing. but if you develop healthy patterns now trust me you will be glad later. don't screw up your metabolism or you will end up with weight problems later in you 20's and 30's and those are the times you are going to want to look your best! It is important to eat though, if you don't eat you slow down your metabolism, that then slows down your body, when you do that you are forcing your body to no burn calories. your body is protecting you from what it thinks is starvation. It is natural process. DON"T STARVE YOURSELF. it doesn't work!

If you're 5' tall and weigh 99 pounds, you don't need to lose weight. If you're worried about your stomach and thighs, just do some toning exercises. Since you're only 13, you're probably going to grow more. And you SHOULDN'T be consuming only 800 calories a day - that's not healthy!

You don't need fancy diets. Eat heavy meals early in day and light meals in evening. Don't eat 2 hrs before retiring for the evening and try to cut back just a little at a time ( not major cut backs in food that leave You very hungry. Of coarse exercise is important a fast walk in eve after dinner will help a lot

Based upon your current Body Mass Index (BMI) of 19.3, you are currently classed as underweight.
A healthy BMI for your gender and age is between 20 and 24.
Please stop the madness, honey. You are underweight already. Please go see a doctor before your weight becomes a health problem. You don't need to lose ANY weight, you actually need to gain 2.5 pounds to be considered a healthy weight with a BMI of 20.

you are never gona lose fat/flab by undereating/starving.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food

no... sweety... less calories will probably do nothin' for you... especially if you only weigh 99 pounds... and if you 5 feet and 99 pounds that's the average weight you should be at... but if you think you have too much fat, it is probably 'cuz fat weighs more than muscle... so you should probably work out more and you would want a balanced diet... and don't stress out 'cuz of the calories... stress will help gain weight at the most... just watch what you eat but don't worry 'bout it too much...

How absolutely silly. You are a little girl. Give it time. Just don't rush it. You can get in serious trouble dieting so young. And think about this. All of these people that live so healthy, sure feel stupid in the hospital dying from nothing.

No No No I grew up feeling not skinny enough. Ive looked back years later and saw that I really looked great. Dont assume what you see in the mirror is a fair assesment of yourself. I am now six foot and 175 lbs I wish I had not spent so many years beating myself up. You are just getting out of the so called baby fat stage. Please be kind to yourself. I grew into the size 10 feet I had at your age. Believe me you are in a great place with your body but give yourself a break and look at your inner beauty as well as the outside.

You NEED to consume calories because you are still growing and need fat for brain development. YOU SHOULD NOT BE DIETING. I'd advise you to talk to a parent or other adult you feel you can trust about this issue. Females have difficult issues when facing body images. Dieting could have long term health affects on your body (reproductive, cardiovascular, autoimmune etc.)
