I would definitely call the police, and try to keep copies of the emails he has sent. I would also block him if you are able to.
You should never tell someone where you live when chatting online; unless you are comfortable talking on the phone and taking the relationship further, no addresses should be given out.

Report to Police straight away and as said above keep everything he has sent you in hard copy print as well as saved on your PC. If you have information on this person I recommend you take out an Apprehended Violence Order as well. It is your responsibility to protect your safety and of those around you.
Do not delay in making this report to the Police as you can not be sure that this person is not on record for stalking, intimidating or worse actually physically hurting someone.
Take good care of you.

Threats shouls be turned over to the police.
I had a jerk stalking me and threatened to kill me. He was on the phone at the time and that made it a federal offense punishable by up to 6 months in the pen. The police called his house. His mama answered. They told her about the 6 months and the threats stopped!
Internet may have same rules!
Good luck.
And remember if you shoot someone outside your house, drag them inside before you call the police to report a "break in". Just a joke. Everybody save the effort to thumbs down me. I'm immune!

The best thing is to block the person from your e-mail. Don't send messages back AT ALL because some people like confrontational communication and people often write things they would never say in person. Oftentimes they will go away when they realize you are not getting their messages. This may not be the case, but I feel this is a good opportunity to remind people to be EXTREMELY careful who they communicate with and to limit e-mail communications to non-emotional, non-personal, non-critical subject-matters.

Well what you need to do is keep all those e-mails and print them and take them to the cops and they will put him in jail for harrassement. Also change your screen name nd tell all your friends not to give it away to no one. AND tell teh cops everyhting he has send you so they can arrest him.

Well first ask yourself why he is emailing you and threatining you. Then take action like the police.
