Is that not BARBARIC? If God loves you then if you sin why could not we ask for forgiveness?
like in Islam if we sin * which every human does except all the prophets who were innocent* we ask for forgiveness... We don extra prayers, we read the Quran more often and we ask God to forgive us.........
We don't kill some one or something to get rid of our sins... thats extremely selfish if some one thinking clearly...
Is self defense a crime?
in fact:
“The greatest crimes, the greatest “sin” of Mohammed in the eyes of Christian West is that he did not allow himself to be slaughtered, to be “crucified” by his enemies. He only defended himself, his family and his followers; and finally vanquished his enemies. Mohammed’s success is the Christians’ gall of disappointment… He did not believe in any vicarious sacrifices for the sins of others.” (Edward Gibbon, Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire.)

If we're going to speak of barbarism, I can do a tit for tat. And when it comes to the West, I hardly consider Gibbon the final or anything near final authority.

Let's go for barbarism people:

Muhammad married a girl at the age of 9. While this is the youngest of the contested ages, we know from the Hadith that she still had her baby dolls when she moved in, because he let her keep them.

Muhammad was initially a polytheist, but recanted it with a "I was deceived by Satan" line.

Muhammad praised the murder of the poetess Asma bint Marwan in front of her own children and received her children as a gift.

Muhammad was a crazed sex fiend. He placed limits on other peoples' wives, but when questioned why he had more wives, he simply explained that as the prophet he got special perks.

Naturally, he got himself into trouble with his prophecies and kept having new prophecies to do away with the older ones (hence the contradictions in the Quran), and frequently these were put in place to justify his ruthless imperial ambition.

I could go on, but he was a raving lunatic, a barbarian, murderer, rapist, pedophile, and tyrant. The only reason we consider this man any different than men like David Koresh is that Muhammad has numerous followers who have proven quite dangerous.

I think people too often forget that our freedom and democracy was partially won by a 1300 year war with the prophet's followers. It finally got stopped (for a little while) at 9/11 1683 (anyone ever wonder why Osama chose that 9/11? Now you know). It is rising up now, and we can look forward to many, many bitter years of war to come (if you don't believe me, look at any part of the world where a significant number of Muslims live with non-Muslims or interact with them, and you will see terrorism and violence without fail). We have had 1300 years of non-stop violence because of this man, and I will offer a strong response to anyone who wants to portray him as peaceful and civilized while Christians or Jews as barbaric (or Hindus, or Zoroastrians, or pagans, or Jehovah's Witnesses, and so on).

God who is Love took a human nature on Himself, even to the point of enduring death. God did not put some goat or sheep or some prophet in the position of being the sin sacrifice;no,God Himself plunged Himself into our mess and took our burdens on Himself. Now that's a God worth worshiping!
One of the differences between Jesus(LTX) and Muhammad(PBUH) is that Jesus did not take up the sword to advance His religious plans but instead He absorbed the violence and taught His followers to love even their enemies.
If only we Christians would do so and live the ethics and grace of Jesus! The ever rising destructive spirl of revenge and revenge begetting revenge is not the way for those who seek to glorify God/Allah(SWT).

Hebrews 9:22
In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

This is why:
And Jesus suffered and poured out His blood for those who believe in Him---HE was the ONE sacrifice for sin! And we must confess our sins to Him and believe with all our heart that He did die and rose from the dead--- this is what saves us- JESUS. By his wonderful grace we are saved as Ephesians 2:8 says.

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:10
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

please do not critisize what you refuse to understand. It is pointless and it creates stereotypes.

blood has a spiritual significance as a mask for sin. since death (sin) and life (Good) can't rightfully exist in the same body, one has to be expelled. If evil is to be expelled, it needs to be masked by the blood, and now the Blood.

it's very complicated at it's deepest level, so let's just go with blood = temporary fix, Blood = permanent fix.
