whats an ancle? is that your aunt and uncle mixed together? if it is then no it would hurt them! I have a tattoo on my ankle and no it did not hurt but I also did some research on who was the best artist in town and he did a great job the only part that was sore was the back where the Achilles tendon is. It just felt rubbed raw though it didn't hurt much!

I have one just above my ankle bone. It didn't hurt too bad. A little annoying. The healing part hurt more. It hurt to first stand up in the morning, because I was stretching it out, but that was also bearable.
But everyones pain tolerance is different. The only way to find out is to just do it. Then you will know. Just get a smaller one to start off with. You wouldn't want to start getting a huge one done, only to find out you can only handle it for five minutes.

It was my first tattoo, I have a star on each ankle and the only thing that kind of burned or stung was when he hit a hair follicle, but it was not what I would call pain.

of course it is going to hurt, its a tattoo, but, i know that an ankle tat is going to hurt a lot more that most because it is right on the bone

it depends on the area where you are getting it at,and the amount of opain you can endure.all tattooes hurt to some degree. but if you can stand getting a shot from the doctor,then you can stand getting a tattoo.

yea it will cause theres a bone there and thin skin.
you think gettin a shot in the ankle would hurt?
yea! same with lower back tats cause its right on the spine.
if your gettin a small one it wont take long to do tho so i think youll be fine.

sometimes the ankles, wrists, and neck can be somewhat painful due to the gathering of nerves at those points.......just make sure that if its a word,to let THEM spell it.....-ancle-----?

some people at my school got tattoos on their ankles and they said it hurt really badly since it was on the bone. there isn't as much skin on your ankle.

more than likely. your ankle has very little fat covering it. getting a tattoo on a bony area will hurt much more than a less bony area.
