I am 21 and I want to take custody of my 16 yr. old little brother because of some issues at home. Is there going to be a problem with the age and how would I go about doing this?

Depending upon the state you're living in, laws vary. You clearly need some legal advice (legal aid in all the big cities and some small...) -If you can't do this, get on the web and look for a law library and ask the question if allowed. Okay, if this doesn't work, contact the nearest U. that has a law school - ask for a 3rd year law student and seek advice. Often, its free.

Sincerely,

Grace

You would have to talk to a lawyer and then go to court unless they will sign all rights to you. But i would be talking to a lawyer first.
