Woah! it is so untrue, extra suitable on your hair improve is retaining your hair up, I keep my hair up each and all the time and that is turning out to be rapid, an Inch each and each month!:) and that i keep my hair up, I in no way enable it down.. basically while i'm interior the bathe yet once I get out I tie it back up in a gaggle nevertheless.

theres no difference in wearing ur hair down or tiening it--but yest too much open hair can attract dust resulting in sticky hair---u r taking a good step by stoppin to use hot appliances---the trick to grow hair longer is trimming regularly every 2months atleast 1/2 an inch---oil ur hair 1 hour b4 shampooing followed by good conditioner and later good serum--u can go for oil massages in parlour it stimiulates hair growth---use olive oil with == amounts of coconut and castrol oil-castrol oil good for growing hair fast and thick--also try almond oil--
avoid blow drying and ironing and all kinds of chemcals and sprays and gels
use mild shampoo

follow my tips wil have great long hair
take care

No. Makes no difference.

Actually you have the right idea. It is the damage (spit ends breaking all the time) that makes it look like your hair does not grow that fast.

If you maintain your split ends your hair should increase in length faster even if it is growing at the same rate.

Confusing isn't it? :)

If you constantly wear your hair up, the natural oils don't get to the ends as well and they can dry up. It is better for your hair to be down more than up.
