where do dogs go after they die..im not kidding?!
athiests don't answer this question:x
it would suck if they didn't go to heaven too..
but i know they don't have a "spirit" but wouldn't they go there because we love them & they made us happy?

As you say, they don't have a spirit so they are not spiritually in God's presence waiting for the resurrection. Also there is no mention of animals participating in the resurrection. I would be quite pleasantly surprised to see my cat in heaven but I do not have any scriptural grounds for expecting to see him. Sorry that I can not give a more hopeful answer.

well I'm kind of an athiest.. but I'm also an animal lover.. so I've come across this poem about the "Rainbow Bridge" a few times - makes me feel better (and less athiest)..

..

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

This is all up to GOD, GOD is all knowing, all merciful, all gracious, Animans were & put on this earth with humans to see how we react to them and if we can live side by side with them and to see how we treat them, maybe there is a place for Dogs to go after death, then again they are not like humans, they dnt really have a choice to be right or evil, except how we make them, life is a test, this life is temporary, its about having faith, let god do the rest but u just try to be the best u can, PEACE.

they may or may not have a spirit (the incident with Balaam's donkey may suggest they do) but they do not have a soul (note, a mind and a soul are different).

sorry, but no soul, no Heaven. they just end. whether God makes animals for you to love in Heaven, I don't know. But the dogs don't go to Heaven or Hell.

Who says dogs don't have a "spirit"???

I think that the same thing happens to dogs as happens to us, but I'm not Christian so I don't believe in "Heaven" and "Hell" anyway.

If you're Christian, I believe the consensus is that dogs don't go to heaven.

Sorry.

We will get the desires of our hearts. My dog will be in heaven with me.
