When i train my cats i just put them in the litterbox and get them used to it. Also anytime they look or act like they are about to poop or pee i pick them up and put them in the litterbox. that way they know what its for.

Using the litter box comes naturally to most kittens. Show her the litter box and if you think she is about to go take her and set her in it. If she has an accident don't discipline her, she won't understand why you are mad. If possible when she has an accident take the feces to the litter and put it in there, usually cats will start to cover it and from there will get the idea that they should be using the litter. If she doesn't start covering it take a scoop and cover it (showing her how to do it). Hopefully this will work. Cats are very clean animals and usually start using a litter box with no problems.

Congratulations on the kitten!

Since she is so tiny, you may want to have two trays for her. 1 full-sized, and the other about the size of a painter's tray, if the large one is intimidating the little tyke. As she gets bigger, start moving the small tray toward where the big one is. And when she's big enough, take the small tray up.

You'll want to put her in her box and perhaps use one of her paws to dig. Most kittens catch on quickly. If there is an accident, take it up and put it in the box, then show her. It won't take long.

Good luck!

Naturally, cats look for places to dig to do their business. After she gets through eating, put her in the litter box, pick up one of her front paws and help her to dig a little bit in the litter. After a time or two she will go to it on her own and know what to do.

ive had two kittens and honestly it seems life it just comes natural. introduce her to the litter box, i put my cat in the box and swished her paws around in it to introduce her to the texture. of course at first they will be scared but as soon as they know that no ones going to hurt them they come out and then its HELL from there, lol just kidding but make sure you have plenty of toys and dont let her sneak into anything dangerous
