I had her potty-trained with no problems until about a month or so ago. She has been having 4 or 5 accidents a day. I have tried time-outs, taking toys, potty charts and small rewards and nothing seems to work. What can I do? I'm frustrated and need HELP please!!!!

Sounds like she has decided that it's a good way to get attention. This is especially common in 3 year old because they want to see what they can get away with. I would suggest placing her in the bathroom or laundry room where you can see her but still ignore her and giving her some clean clothes and a plastic bag. It won't be fun anymore if you have no reaction and she has to do all the work.

This is very normal. If you punish her it is only going to make things worse. The best thing is peer pressure. The kids at preschool or day care will take care of making her feel bad about the accidents. If need be, put her back in a diaper, not a pull up, with her big girl panties on the inside. When she has an accident, she’ll feel gross and wet, but you will not have so much to clean up.

Also remember to take her to the potty often even when she says she doesn’t have to go. If the accidents keep up, you might want to take her to the doctor for a little check up just in case she has a bladder infection.

If you just had a new baby or a large change in the family that is a huge trigger for kids to revert back to diapers.

Something must have happened ! Was there some trauma or a recent move or change of babysitter? Usually when kids do stuff like that it's because they want attention, or because they're traumatized somehow. My daughter wouldn't use the toilet for several days after she almost fell in. Try and ask her why she's not using the potty. She just might tell you.

kids regress. has any thing changed at home like a move or a new baby or daddy deploying if military, all these and lots more can cause this. time to re potty train her. you will have to start all over again with her

Look closely into her life (including if she's in daycare, talk to her teacher and other caregivers). Major changes or stresses can have a really negative effect on potty training.
